No trout can ever taste like a walleye!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> I won't believe it for a moment!

Robb92, that's a general recipe for all the fish I cook. Very good!<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

I KNOW ITS A GENERAL RECIPE, BUT A GOOD ONE!! I'LL ALSO MADE A FISH PIE OUT OF SOME OF THE TROUT I'VE CAUGHT, TAKE AND SMOKE THE FISH AND THEN WHEN ITS DONE SMOKING FLAKE OUT ALL THE MEAT IN TO A CASSEROLE DISH WITH SOME CUT UP ONIONS, AND SOME SPICES AND SOME CREAM AND THEN SOME SHREDDED CHEESE THEN COVER WITH MASHED POTATOS, AND THEN BAKE IN THE OVEN FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES, TALK ABOUT GOOD!!!

The walleye isn't bad.... but that lake trout brent and us had was something else. It was by far the best tasting fish I've had. I don't know if it was the recipe or the fish but man it was about as good as it could have gotten.
