Default Smoked Venison Ham

Had some venison ham while bear hunting with Bronko2200 this year and really liked it....
So, I had four hindquarters done this year as a smoked bone in ham... Got them back earlier this week. Really impressed. Came out really well. I've ate some sliced for breakfast as well as a full roast done in the oven. Both came out good. Think this might be a yearly thing now. The best part is it was only $9 for each hindquarter. Which I thought was a good deal.

I used to get whole ducks and geese smokes whole by a custom smoker. Then heat them in the oven at 300 degrees just until they were heated through. Put thm on the table with a big piece of cheese and a couple of knives and a cold beer that was some good eating. I like to have dried beef(venison) made from deer hind quarters.
