Default Using Tin Cans for Venison

Just started canning some elk so I can make room for this season. I am using tin cans, not jars. Anyone use tin cans? I'm a little worried that I did not fill them full enough...not sure if it matters. I had them in the pressurized canner for 90 minutes. Also, I'm concerned about the seal on the lids...need some help here!

Being thaat no one has replied since you posted this in June, I would say that no one knows. I didn't even know that, other than factory canning in tin cans, that it could be done at home. I would suggest that you do a Google search online. You should be able to come up with plenty of info about this canning process. If you haven't done so already. As to the question about if they sealed properly, I would think it would be similar to canning with jars. when there is a seal, it should suck the top down. If you open one of the cans and hear the release, it should be fine.
