Chili Sauce for hotdogs?
#4
I doubt there is a set recipe, unless someone owns the business. Every joint and dirty water dog truck tastes different. If I were you I'd start by making a batch of beanless chile and a batch of sloppy joes and combining the two. Then tweak it as you see fit. Experimenting is all the fun. Bye the way if you Google it you will get 895,000 results.

I will ignore the OP's decision to go with chili dog sauce and go for the chili sauce. Put a few jars of chili sauce in the crock pot with some grape jelly. Add some smoked sausage or little smokies and you are set. Just in case the OP didn't really know which one he was talking about.
