Chili Sauce for hotdogs?

Any body have a good recipe for chili sauce? Thanks alot.

Chili sauce like bottled or chili sauce as in chili but without the beans? I just make Chile and leave out the beans.

I'm looking for a meat sauce to make chili dogs with. Bean-less chili is good but i'm looking for a recipe like you get at the hotdog joints. Thanks!

I doubt there is a set recipe, unless someone owns the business. Every joint and dirty water dog truck tastes different. If I were you I'd start by making a batch of beanless chile and a batch of sloppy joes and combining the two. Then tweak it as you see fit. Experimenting is all the fun. Bye the way if you Google it you will get 895,000 results.:happy0001:

Buy some cans of Sky-Line Chili one of my favorite places to eat.

I will ignore the OP's decision to go with chili dog sauce and go for the chili sauce. Put a few jars of chili sauce in the crock pot with some grape jelly. Add some smoked sausage or little smokies and you are set. Just in case the OP didn't really know which one he was talking about.
