Have any of you guys ever had pine needle tea It tastes very good kind of like green tea. If you brew it right It will give you an energy boost. Here's what you do get a medium sized cup of water and a handful of green pine needles they must be green. And bring to a boil. Tak out pine needle and strain through metal mesh straine and keep in fridge. Serve cold or warm.

I've had tea made from hemlocks. It's probably close to the same thing since they're both evergreens.

now can you use pines only or are pine needles interchangeable with hemlock, spruce, or other evergreen needles. I may just have to try this out.

never had pine needle tea but have had tea made out of sumac. You use the red cluster of berries. And no not poison sumac, I think those berries are white, but I could be wrong. What kind of pine needles are you supposed to use?

My grandmother use to make me tea from saaafrass when i was a kid.
