I tried Rock Lock's method, and it works awesomely. The time and skill required are about the same as the way I had been doing it forever, but Rock's method gives you a hair-free carcass.
I watched the video that sljones posted, and couldn't believe how easy he made it seem. 46 seconds! He must have had a young squirrel, freshly killed, a razor sharp knife, and many years experience. I will try that method and report back.

i do it the way Rock Lock posted too. i'm definiitely trying the video way next time. i am curious to see if it works any better than what i normally do. he made it look so easy. i'll report back.
