Beef/Venison Stroganoff

I just made the best stroganoff I ever tasted!! I grilled 4 deer steaks medium, diced the meat in 1/2" pieces and added the deer meat plus 2 cans of mushroom pieces to a Beef Stroganoff flavored "Banquet Crock Pot Classics" After 10 hours in the crock pot,I can't tell the difference between the beef and the deer. Very tender and not dry at all.

Want to try a true German style try a little ground Nutmeg on it.
Very unique flavor. Use sparingly.
