Default Yellow Hell Mango Marinade

Chef#1.
Well tryed to inject the marinade and......well it would not inject. I had to strain it and I dont think that we got the full effect of all the good spices.
It tasted ok but I need to find a larger needle or somthing to inject with.
Thanks
Rick

Rick, I have that problem with all marinades. That's why I almost always bring them to the edge of a boil and then let them sit in the frige overnight. I think it helps to marry the flavors. I have never tried to drill the end of the injection needle although I think it might help.

Good Luck. Capt Brad.

Thanks Capt. Will try that on the next one. The taste on this marinade was very good but it was a you know what trying to inject. I think I lost out on alot of the flavor not being able to get more of the good spices into the bird.

Rick, I get the syringe that I use from my local hardware store. They carry a basic supply of vacinations for livestock and pets, and the needles to go with them, xtra lg sizes available.

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

God Bless,
Dave

Chef,
Thats what I ended up doing.
Deerdust thanks but the syringe isnt the problem its the needle. I have one that is used to inject meat with but the pulp and the other spices clog it up so you cant inject very well.
Thanks,
Rick
