Fire Ring/Grill

300-square-inch cooking area
32" diameter

Additional Info

Buyer's Guide

Like those used in Forest Service campgrounds around the country, this sturdy fire ring will let you enjoy a safe fire for cooking or just relaxing wherever you want to relive the camping experience. Ideal for use in the backyard, at the cabin or at your private campsite, it keeps hot coals and ashes safely contained. The formed 1" flange gives it maximum strength. The grate is constructed of 1/2" dia. A36 steel bars, adjusts from 7-1/2" to 14" above the firebox and has a 300 sq. in. cooking area. A powder coat finish protects it from rust and corrosion for years of enjoyment.
Weight: 85 lbs.
Overall diameter: 32-5/8".
Measures: 6" high.

Yeah, there's nothing like cooking over an open fire. I started building these for my self and then friends. Over the years I have put all kinds of stuff on them. They are 36" in diameter, stand appx 32" high made from 1/4"and 3/8" plate and weigh in the 150-175 lb range. All have grills/grates for cooking but are not always pictured. They do cook steaks and fajitas very well.

Here are just a few examples....

I work with metal and I must say, excellent work doubleA...How did you come about with the pattern? I guess the plates are laser cut being 1/4” or 3/8” plates?...

I'm going to have to make one and it wont be as fancy as boubleA, but it will be stainless steel...
