What fish do you feel is the best to eat?
 

I don't eat fish that often, I do eat them on occation like in elk camp and when somebody returns from Alaska with fresh salmon. Anyway whats your favorite fish to eat?

Around here we usually get our fill of bass, crappie, and several types of catfish, all in ponds or small lakes. But the absolute best fish I've had was from whenme and 2 others went to northern minnesota 2 years ago. Everything we caught, walleye, perch, or pike, ran circles around anything we're used to. or maybe it was all the beer...

I catch rainbows here mostly & i dont care for eating them to much.


Id much rather have a nice fresh whitefleshed fish like yellow perch, walleye, northern pike or a cat etc to eat.

I would have to say in freshwater the mountain whitefish caught
out of the deep cold water lakes. And for salt water nothing can
beat a flounder to me.

walleye!!!!! burbot is good, I like my cold smoked trout/salmon, and fresh salmon done med-rare baked or BBQ. I eat a few catfish every year but only from the early season when the water is cold. Any fish is good when cooked right.

Fresh Tuna on the Grille,Shark,Flounder,Catfish,Crappie - pretty much in that order.

I will admit I haven't tasted some of the ones mentioned here but I have yet to find something tasty as a mess of fresh caught sunfish fried up

Freshwater any of the trouts or salmons, Saltwater The Yellow tail snapper and Mahi Mahi.

When I lived on the west coast it was fresh caught BBQ Salmon or smoked. Now I live on the prairies, nothing beats a shore lunch with fresh caught Walleye.

Ocean fish = Haddock (altho Wolf-fish up here in NE is teriffic too)
Fresh Water fish = Trout, any kind.

I'm brain dead - where or what is AI.Have an idea where 3r's is - but please elighten me?? I'm a boater - and - fish off rocks at Indian River bridge or drift fish under and around bridge. Used to fish off Coast Gaurd station at Indian River before 911 screwed that up. Best honey hole on Inlet day or night!!
I'm ashamed - but haven't been salt water fishin yet this year.
Fish fresh water 4-5 days a week.

need a good walleye recipe. normally i dredge 'em in corn meal with a little cayenne, and then fry the fillets in bacon grease. any other suggestions?
