hey guys how is it going? i have a mathews outback and have been shooting the trophyridge dropaway guide series rest , i wasnt to impressed with it last year i mean it felt nice but my arrows looked to be fishtailing at 45 yards not sure if my arrow broadhead combo was right but was not to inpressed with the little bit of thump in the rest when the rest fell i could feel it in my hand , i was wondering you take on what you think the best rest is out there now ??? and what the best arrow (for shooting 3d ) is on the market ?? thanks in advance

Since it's inception about 10 years ago it's been the ACC's.
Withe rest? I have heard of a couple guys putting moleskin under the rest arm where it bottoms out. This might helps with the thump and noise you have with it.

I would tend to agree with the others in terms of the ACCs for both accuracy and build quality...at least in my experience. But then there is the price.....
As for rests, I still prefer either the GKF Golden Premier or GKF Infinity. If you are partial to drop aways then either one can be had in a drop away version.

I really like my QuickTune 4000. The way the forks are kind of bent back/upwards (depending on its position) seem to help cradle the arrow prior to it being in the full upright position. Also, it's really easy to make fine-tune adjustments.
As for the arrows - are you sure you don't just need to tune the rest a bit better? I use Gold Tip Pros with the shorty vanes and they seem to fly ok.

Trying many different rests and arrow combos over the years from the ole 2216s to Carbons to ACC's, I have the most confidence in ACC's and now my Trophy Taker fall away. This is proving to be a great combination on my Liberty 80. "the best" I have no idea, but working great, yes.
