I saw this buck 5 yrds broadside in front of me while i was bowhunting that year. I also had a bigger ten 18 yrds. I elected to wait for the ten to give me a shot. I got him. Its the one on the wall in the earlier photos of my game room. the one above the bar.

ANyways, I told my dad about it and i told him I'd set him up for GUN season.

I set him up, gave him the best opportunity as you'll see and he BLEW IT.. hit a tree. Then after the shot, its standing on top of the ridge, but he couldnt see. I could have shot it. lol

It happens to hte best of us. The video is dark but he looked like a nice deer.

I didnt think it was funny until a long time afterthefact. I was more bummed than him.. But now we both laugh
