Walk barefoot around where you lost it. You will find it.

I moved my target around tonight and started playing with some longer distances and my first shot went right under the target and into the swamp behind my house. Luckily I had a metal detector available to help me find it otherwise I have a feeling it would've been lost forever. I've never been a big fan of losing arrows and now that I'm shooting these ridiculously expensive acc's I'm even less of a fan.

That's a good idea right there. I need to buy one as well

For me this includes building a really big target.
