Is she was carrying twins each weighing 12-14 pounds she would also have about that much in fluid and other stuff as well. Most pregnant animals I have seen in my life are much more...even in their distribuiton of weight, it would be a more gentle slop off the front of the animal than that and it would be more gentle in back too. It would just be less pronounced... Just doesn't strike me as something that would be caused by pregnancy alone.. There has to be something wrong with the abdominal wall.

Id vote something wrong. If she had 25 pounds of deer in her stomach, wouldnt her back be swayed really low too. Plus her sides arent really pushed out at all, shouldnt they be pushed out really far if she has two deer in her?

They come in all shapes and sizes when pregnant. Some carry high , some carry low , some look like they have an alien ready to pop out the side. Remember , those little lifeforms inside there move , just like babys in humans. The fawn(s) could just be in an awkward position.

That is a weird sight for sure.
I think if you can give us the date the pic was taken we can confirm if it is indeed pregnant or not.It may be a growth of some sort as well.

oh yeah, my vote is for an abnormality. All the does my friend has bred over the years never looked like this and he had a few triplets. She would be fatter all around not just in that one spot IMHO.
