99% sure that I will be on an elk hunt in New Mexico with my bow in early September. This should be a heck of a good hunt!!

Then the rest of the fall in far northern WI.

Seems how I am in the Coast Guard. I only get about one good hunt in a year. Along with some weekend stuff. But I am stationed in Washington now.. So, I along with two buddies are going back to my spot in Idaho on a three week long elk and mule deer hunt. It should be great! I have taken five elk from this very spot and can't wait to walk those ridgelines once again!!

turkeys now, and its been eventful. going bear hunting in a couple weeks

this fall, took 2 weeks vacation first of september, elk for sure, deer too, all in wyoming. bear hunt in minnesota in there somewhere. antelope and deer here until oct. 1, then swap hunters here for 5 days of deer/antelope. then, god willing, ill draw that vermont moose tag and be on the way. also looking at a short arizona coues deer hunt in late october, and maybe missouri for big whitetails if i can squeeze it in..
would like to go back to ohio for whitetail in december muzzleloader if i can get the time.

and of course, all of the above depends on whether i draw a moose, sheep, or goat tag here in wyoming, and i dreamt that i drew the goat tag, so that must be a sure thing

Well lets see......

First week in September doves open.

Fall turkey in October.

Archery deer October - January.

Begining of November quail and pheasant open.

Ducks in late November.

Shotgun/pistol deer in November.

Coyote all year round.

Really nothing new. I have a bear/cougar hunt on the back burner for next fall with my wife's cousin. He is serving in Iraq now but is due home in December. He lives in Idaho and has some connections with outfitters. He had this hunt set up for us for this fall but duty called.

God bless him and all who serve and have served. I pray he comes home safe.

Turkey hunting in about 2 weeks here in RI and probably Connecticuit. Bowhunting for whitetail in RI this fall and possibly connecticuit. I have some land lined up in KS for a bowhunt, but I'm not sure if I can make the trip and coordinate the landowner transfer, etc. If I don't do the KS trip this year, theres always next... I may do the local firearms seasons for whitetail as well.

Turkeys in a little over a week.
Fishing Lake Ontario for lakers & walleye in June.
Going to the Finger Lake region of NYS on a bowhunt in November.
Then, just my regular MA & CT bow hunting & shotgun/muzzleloader in MA.

First up is Spring turkey in Vermont the first weekend in May, and PA the following week. Both will be hunted with a bow and shotgun. Will be calling for 2 other guys too so I should get some good time in the woods because there are 6 tags between the 3 of us that I need to do the calling for.

Also will be taking the Nov 5th to 13th off down in Bradford County, PA for the last week of Archery (rut time) and staying in the family mansion down there as a vacation. I will also hunt NY in it's Albany County bowhunting only "Pine Bush" zone for deer, and in Rutland County Vermont for archery and rifle season on weekends this fall. It's funny, because I live in NY but am yet to hunt here. This archery season will be my first time in their area. I always seem to travel to hunt, it will be nice this year to slip out after work to hunt during the week.

I got a trip planned to Illinois but that's it. Out of state deer licenses are getting so high that this will probably be my last year. I am pretty ticked about the rate hikes so I am going to start going on turkey hunts instead.
