Just wondering how many woman bowhunters there are on the forums. And also, my gf loves shooting archery in the back yard but can't get her to go hunting, any suggestions on getting her to go that first time?

just let her keep practicing as much as possible i think when she is comfortable she will want to do it. My mom is going out for turkeys this year for the first time and that took 15 years.

Take her bowhunting with you. Let her experience the hunt with no expectations but to enjoy the time with you and nature. That's how my hubby hooked me. I was already a hunter when I met him, but he took me bowhunting and I became addicted the first time I went out with him!!

Ask her to video you hunting, let her see it is not just about killing an animal. Try a long comfortable trip of camping and hunting. I hooked mine starting with Turkey hunting when they Gobble she gets pretty fired up.
