sad day for Ky bowhunting.
I found out today at the bowshop that they are going to allow crossbows during the regular bow season.I believe this to be a reliable source and he has already started stocking alot of crossbows.Someone please verify if this is true or not.
Don't get me wrong,I believe everyone has a right to hunt with what they like but crossbows are not bows and should have their own season.Bowseason is about 4 months in Ky and I don't think crossbows should be allowed that whole time.1 month should be sufficient.
Every since they went to the call in check, they keep getting more and more liberal with the laws.Maybe they think enough deer are not being killed when in reality enough are not being checked in.[]

Oh please ,Drama. With the increase in the use of X-bows in pa. the deer harvest acyually went down even in the high deer pop areas and the special regs extended season area for doe.

If Kentucky is allowing crossbows, you'll not see any negative effects of them. Your deer season will be just as long, your bag limit just as liberal ............ they will be a non-factor for your bowhunting.
Thats the way it is in Arkansas and has been for 30 years.
