Many of you know that I tested these heads a while back. I found them to be accurate, durable, and well made. The manufacture claims they fly more like a mechanical than a fixed blade head. At first I didn't find this to be true. I think mostly becuase my test bow is so well tuned that most heads fly very well from it, I didn't see any differnce in accuracy of the Slick Tricks and any other quality head. I have however done some recent testing with a friends bow, and then with a couple others. I have found that the Slick Trick broadheads do infact fly better than any other fixed blade head I have shot. With a slightly out of tune bow, and when using straight fletchings they really fly more like a field point than any other fixed blade head. I feel it is only fair that I report my recent findings, and to let everyone know I plan on upgrading the slick tricks accuracy score from a 4, to a 5. This will bring the total score up from a 24 to a 25. None of the other tests results have changed, I just now have more information concerning the accuracy and feel I need to make the changes to better reflect the actualy preformance of this broadhead.

I'm impressed.
Wonder how it'd do out of a 52# longbow tipped to a 500 grain arrow ?

I am sure it will be very accurate, not sure about you penetration though. I don't test with my recurve. If I could shoot it a little better I may to some testing with it.

Thanks for the update 5-Shot!
Stealthy,
100 grain or 125 should shoot fine with the recurve. Just make sure the tip is sharpened as well.

Hey 5 shoot I got a set of these and they are dead on accurate . I was wondering if you thought it was due to the fact that they are shorter than most of the other broad heads out there . Thanks for all of your great input it is apprecaited .
