I heard the food pantries here are no longer accepting donations. Seems they are affraid of getting one that has CWD. Too bad too, I bet about 20,000 deer go in the dumpster here. Less than 3% of those will have the disease.<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

Kind of, we get about 150# of sausage done every year. 1/5th is usually mine. I give a couple people I know that dont have much $$$ about 5 pounds of sausage, a roast and some burger every year. Id rather see it go to someone I know. I also bring them fish throughout the summer months.

My friend and hunting partner is the Kansas State Director for "Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry" (FHFH). It is an awesome program, ideal for hunters wanting to donate meat to the hungry. Let me know if you want or need any information on the program.
