well with feathers, rain is not good. But I seen one of the biggest bucks in my life in the rain. I guees if you had some good rain gear and some arrows with plastic vanes, go for it. A light misty rain yeah, a downpour no..........good luck

I love to hunt in an all day drizzle! Downpours are not real fun, but they usually don`t last long.
BM20 is right, bloodtrails get washed away. That is why, more than ever, you need to take ONLY close, sure shots. When a deer only runs 25-30 yards, I don`t need much of a trail to follow!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hey bull,
Get the magnum umbrella. Size does matter! LOL!
The small one helps but lets it run off and down your shins if you are in a treestand and can't "ball up" under it. I am just over 6'2 and 235 pounds so It is tough to get under the standard size.
Other than that they are a big help. I also open mine up in front of me as a turkey blind when calling in longbeards.
