getting to the stand

Need ya alls opinion. When i set my stands up every year I always clear a nice path to it. I clear all sticks and anything that is laying on the ground that may cause me to be heard while entering the woods while going to my stand. Always looks good at the time. But come time for the leaves to start falling, it is a givin that now you will be walking on the nice crunchy leaves while going to your stand. Question is--

1. REMOVE LEAVES AFTER A MORNING HUNT ON THE WAY OUT MAKING MORE NOISE THAN I SHOULD?
2. LEAVE LEAVES AND JUST WALK VERY SLOWLY AND STILL MAKE NOISE GETTING T MY STAND EVERY TIME?

Im just wanting your alls opinion and lets get to huntin.
thanks

I would move nothing...If you walk in rhythmetically like we humans do, you will probably be precived as a human, but if you break up your rhythm a little by taking a step but not more than 2 and pause, you may be precieved as some curious varment.....It's nice to walk in after a rain, you can hardley here your self walk...

I agree that once the season starts you should not be making unnessary noise or changes to the woods so I also feel that you should just walk in very slowly...

Walk slow and quiet, I always try to get to my stand area about 1 1/2 hours before each hunt so I can take my time getting in and have at least a hour after I get settled to let everthing calm back to normal.
