I agree with Pop-a Squat that you dont touch anything in the woods once hunting season gets started. Allthough if you see where turkey have been they make a mess of everything around but Ill bet the deer know what would be moved by yourself or what the turkey did two weeks earlier. I would just move in very very quietly. and dont forget when the deer move around on those crusty leaves you get to hear them before you see them.

ruttn, i agree with everyone else. never change the natural look. i don't even cut shooting lanes. i've never killed a deer with a bow but i have killed several with a gun. just be slow and easy and leave no scent.

Thanks everyone for your replies, you all make alot of since. Im a newbie and haven't been hunting that long (3years). I am learning alittle more every year and i have the fever, 2 weeks to go and can't think of anything but hunting. im sure will have more questions and thanks again.
