Bow for the wife

I know there is alot of women out here hunting and some guys with wifes and girlfriends shooting. My wife just started last year and we are looking to upgrade her bow. I have been looking at the Hoyt Rintec's. Not because I like Hoyts better than anything else just because we want to spend 300 or under and still get a good bow.

I was wondering what everyone else is shooting and what thier thoughts were on them. She is mostly going to be shooting 3d targets (for fun) and possibly deer but not there yet. Looking for something in the 40 to 50 pound range and 24 inch draw.

Any suggestions?

The Hoyt RenTech looks like a nice bow. It is fast- 270 fps with a 350 grain arrow at 26" and 50 lbs. It looks like a decent enough bow to just order straight off the internet!:D

If you are looking for something a bit less expensive try a PSE Spyder S4. It maxes out at 40 lbs and 25". I bought one for my wife and so far she has really been enjoying it. It's suprisingly accurate and pretty quick with the 300gr arrows she's shooting.
I bought it used for under $120.

Bought my wife an Alpine Micro last year and she shoots pretty good with it.

Don't forget to check out the Fred Bear line. I shoot one and I love it!! It is very forgiving and easy to shoot. I know for my whole setup we got it all for right around $300. That was including the quiver, sight, rest and arrows. Don't hesitate to take her to shoot a few before you just buy one. Then she can tell you what fits her the best.
