RE: Bow for the wife
Thanks guys, we went down to the bow shop and tried out several. Hoyt Rintec pulls way too hard. I thought I was pulling my bow back.
Browning, Alpine, PSE all had several to choose from but we settled on a Jennings Rackmaster. This was by far the easiest for her to pull back with single cam and 75% let off. It is shooting great for her. Maybe too good. |
RE: Bow for the wife
Got my wife a Browning Sumitt II about 5 years ago.

RE: Bow for the wife
I shoot a Martin Tracer Magnum. I spent about 400 on it 3 years ago. I have a 26 inch draw and shoot 51 pounds. It is 32 and 3/4 axel to axel. its a really comfortable bow.

RE: Bow for the wife
I was playing with my wifes new challenger. {she's not home from vacation yet} It shoots pretty nice, I was suprised how quickly it would sling an arrow at a 23.5 inch draw. seems to group pretty good also for me having to bend my elbow back 5 inches.

RE: Bow for the wife
As soon as I get the food stamps she wants a BowTech Maridan. It is light, I think 2.9 pounds, look on-line at it. Good luck. I believe at 50 lbs 26 draw and 350 gr arrow it shoots 275 fps. If the wife shoots that means more toys for you!
