Prospective new bow...
#1
I currently have a PSE nova, which I bought when I was 16ish and I am looking to upgrade now that I have finished growing. The PSE was a great beginner bow, and I recommend it to everyone with kids
Anyway, I have kinda pointed myself in the direction of mathews, and even further toward the LX or the Switchback...looking for opinions
30.5 inch draw
70 # draw weight
aluminum shafts
100 grain mechanicals

I have heard great things about these bows (Fact). I don't like solo cams (opinion). I don't like shorter ATA length bows, no matter the brace height or the "forgiveness" they are not as forgiving as a longer bow (F/O). If you haven't shot too much I also like a bow that is easily adjustable. Especially draw length. I use to shot 31" now I'm down to 29". Any solo cam bow that is adjusted for draw lenght, needs to have the wheel changed to compensate for the difference in draw length. If the wheel is not changed poor arrow flight will occur, especially in the extremes of the draw range. Just my thoughts.
