I have a Mathews FX w/a NAP QT 2000 drop away rest. I'll shoot 2 arrows in the 10 ring from 30 yards, and then one 5 inches to the right! I've had my father-in-law watch me carefully, and I'm not doing anything differently on my release. I've taken the "errant" arrow and shot it seperately.....bulls-eye. Every 3rd or 4th shot seems to fly off left. Could this be something funny going on w/my rest?? The right fork is VERY close to the riser...which has moleskin on it. Suppose it could be catching, and thus making contact w/the fletching?? I don't see any signs of contact, but I can't figure out what it could be!!
Please help....want to get me a deer this weekend!!
THANKS!!

Tarheel, my guess would be you're torquing the bow occasionally. I had the same problem, erratic lefts. A very good shooter I was shooting with pointed out I was gripping the bow as I drew, then relaxing my hand. That caused me to torque the bow at times, without realizing it. Now I lay my relaxed hand on the riser (I shoot off the riser) and keep it positioned with pressure on the string. Draw and shoot. It took the lefts away immediately.

Apparently not. I think once things got out of whack it didn't return to the correct alignment as I relaxed. That's why it's erratic, the grip becomes inconsistent.
