Certainly a very unique trophy, I've NEVER seen any color phase other than standard brown in my area. A double troat patch is about as unusual as it gets in my area! Thanks for sharing the pics.

I do have a question, is the piebald coloration a result of inbreeding or any other unheathy herd condition? Or is it totally random and could occur anywhere?

I have no idea what causes the pie balled state. But no one had seen this deer before until the day I took it. It came in all by itself...

The total on the mount was $503.50! From the response I got on here when I first got it back in Feb. that was a steal of a price.

Very Nice Indeed!

It is still astonishing to get a full body mount for that price, way to go! That might be more rare than finding a piebald.
