I put one on, my pro shop took it off. I like shooting without one, no fumbling when the game appears out of thin air. Also as MathewsMan8533 says about torqe, if your release swivels, which it should, there is no twist. JMO

you can still torque your bow. your grip on the bow can torque. doesnt matter what kinda release you got if your grip is to hard on bow. you will torque it.

My only suggestion about loops is that you watch for the serving separating. The loop pinches the sting and separates the serving. Happened to my bow and a hunting buddies bow. I no longer shoot a loop.

I shoot one, with the shorter a=a bows just makes sense IMO, but I'm a rookie so I could be wrong.

Peebles is not wrong... in that shorter ATA bows do benefit from the loop, especially if you are a longer draw archer. I imagine that a loop would really shine with todays ultra shorties that seem to be dominating the scene. Personally, I don't care for string loops. I pull 31" but can comfortably draw 32 depening on the bow. A direct attachment with a quality release, (like a Goose), eliminates my concern that something else could go wrong at the moment of truth.
