i don't think it would spoke them to much, being they cover so much new ground everyday they most likely don't know what it should look like their.

The main head turner for a coyote would be the smell of the scent on the ground. I doubt they would care too much about the sight. It's the smell of scent on the ground that would get their attention, I think. If you're hunting open country though, it should work well.
