Who all here likes their heavy arrows and what type of broadheads do you use? I personally like the 2219. They sure smack the target. This will be my first fall shooting them at deer, whats penetration like with these bad boys. thanks guys

I shoot 2413's with 125gr. thunderheads with a 60# 29" setup and it works great, love it. Last season i got a doe with 140gr. bradheads and i think like 23 sumthin arrows.

I took a lot of deer with 2219 shafts. In my opinion they are overlooked do to the speed craze that exists now.

I took 6 deer with 2219's last year, all pass thru's but one & that one encountered alot of bone & poked out the other side buried to the fletching. Took one deer with a 2216 from a different bow & it worked as well. Both with 100 grain fixed blades & from 70# bows. They dont go really fast but they sure go thru what you hit.

The 2219's I think are around 550 grains at 28". The 2216's i'm not sure but probably close to 500.

Hey Adams, if you want heavy carbon's Carbon Tech makes some heavy ones. 14+ gpi. I can't remember what they weighed exactly but they were the Rhino line and the Safari line. Lots of carbons out there over 10 gpi. Actually, I think Carbon Express has some 11 gpi shafts too.. Blackhawk V-Max's are 10.2 or something like that...
