Am I the only one left......

RE: Am I the only one left......
Has anyone here ever tried to drag a deer through sagebrush? Holy crap its hard. 20 ft is a chore. I like to make a back pack out of the deer by making slices in the gam cords, I then put the front legs through the slices and tie them off. The deer can easily be hoisted on your back and off you go. I would not recommend this method in heavily hunted areas. I do it out here in light pressure areas, but still put orange on the deer. If it is a long way to the truck I will bone out the animal and put it into my old military duffle bag that has the back pack straps on it. It rolls up small and can be stored in the bottom of a day pack. When the deer is boned out and in the bag, put the daypack and extra clothing in the bag with it and off you go. I love the feeling of a full pack.

No dragging here. I weigh 135#'s soaking wet and I AIN'T dragging nothing.
The hike doesn't bother me and I am far from lazy but physical limitations get the best of me.
I use a 4-wheeler when allowed or a deer hauler(that I made) when the 4-wheeler can't be used.
