I heard this on the morning news.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City woman got a bizarre wake-up call Wednesday morning when a deer broke into her house.

It happened at about 4:30 a.m. at her house at 4700 N.W. 80th Terrace.

A deer smashed through a window, startling the homeowner's daughter who was sleeping inside.

She got up to check things out, and the deer charged her. She got away by breaking out another window in the house.

Both the deer and the woman were expected to be okay.

It was the second time a deer had busted into the house.

Sometimes when an animal such as a deer walks by a window and then see's it's movement and or reflection on the glass it may be viewing this as an aggressor, then out of instinct it charges the glass to get in to find what it was looking at in the first place.
It may be the deer at the time was so pumped up that it viewed the people as an aggressor.

Do you suppose I could hang a stand in the daughters bedroom? Sounds like a pretty hot trail if this has happened twice.

Maybe she smelled like "doe in estrus"
