Seems like an eternity before bow season, but hey...it wil go by fast. Of course, does bow season really ever end. My off-season is jam packed with scouting and preparation. As long as I'm outdoors, I'm doing what I love most about the sport.
I've already got leads on mature bucks that made it through last season, so that's promising. I plan on doubling the number of treestands I put out last year. My winter scouting has given me several likely new locations. Of course, all is subject to change depending on activity in those areas throughout the spring and summer.
How about you guys? How's preseason coming along? Any new ideas or strategies for this coming season? It's never too early to start thinking about and planning for bow season!

95 days and I will be a bear stand. That should get me through till October 1. That and a little fishing, and working on food plots and tree stands. Plus shooting my bow and surfing through Cabelas catalog. Its not addiction it is a way of life.

Im going on a pig hunt in April, that should hold me over for awhile, plus I have spring turkey. Then fishing the Ozark streams throughout the spring, summer and fall leading up to opening day of bow season.
It will be here in a flash.
