After the story I herd for sw Pa last week , Ill never shoot a pure carbon again . Ill either be shooting wraped alluminum accs or plain old alluminum , they allways shot great for me .

killer, Many 3-D shooters are using carbons for the flat shooting over extended yardage. In our area of Pa. spot shooters and hunters are shooting ultra lite aluminums.

I started shooting carbons with the last bow I bought. The pro shop talked me into it. Said I was the last of a dying breed. Almost all of their sales are carbon and judging by what was behind the counter waiting to be picked up he was right. They do seem to shoot a lot flatter and I have had no problem with them. I actually do like them. That being said I had no problem with my old 2315s and still shoot them in my old finger bow and intend to continue to do so.

Chuck Adams only shoots aluminum. (straighter being the main criteria and the fact that the only reason to switch to carbon is for speed, which he doesn't think most hunter need the extra speed).

I too shoot 2315 Eastons and had thought about going carbon at some point, but won't now.

I use aluminum exclusivley as well. I've been back and forth a few times, but always return to aluminums.
