I have had lots of luck in bradford county, I will be there as well but not until the end of their bow season when the rut is happening. What town will you be in? I hunt Canton.

I've been hunting PA since day one of the legal age... but never in Bradford County. Not by choice mind you, I just don't know too many folks from that region. Are there good bucks there? Maybe I should take a quick trip.

BTW - Here's my archery buck from 2004 taken in Central PA... I like him very muchly...

Bradford County is definately worth going to if you have the chance. It is a lot of farmland there, with small pockets of woods between all of it. It is probably the best hunting I have seen personally in the state and I have hunted York, Lancaster, Tioga, Huntington and Bradford Counties. I have hunted all over the county as well and it seems to be very good all over.

I think more deer are killed in PA , then in any other state , by hunters . But I think there are more hunters there allso . Its a yearly ritual for me . Good luck to you , enjoy yourself out there , its pretty in Pa in october .

There are no deer in PA!?!?!

At least that is what "everyone" on the NE forum says.

big ten, This a a very good county for bear. The state record bear was harvested in Bradford a few years back. That record has moved to second place by one measuring 1/4" more in skull size.

i shot a nice 6 pt. with 2 busted off tines this year with my bow about an hour or two from bradford county. had a 17 inch spread, however it was quite small compared to some of the bucks i have been seeing. their are some monsters running around. i had a 160 ish 12 pt about 40 yards from me last bow season, but never got any closer.

if you can it would be well worth it to do a little scouting before your trip
