slicktrick noise make a difference??
Its pretty obvious that the ST heads make a little more noise than the average headd..Do you all think it will make any difference??You think an elk or deer will be quick enough to react to the hissing noise the head makes??

Ever stood to the side and listened when someone makes a shot? Beleive it or not that arrow makes quite a racket. I doubt that this noise you're talking about will be significant enough to alert the animal any more than they would be normally.

RE: slicktrick noise make a difference??
I have taken a shot on a deer with a slick trick that did hiss with my set up. In fact, it was looking at me when I released...and it didn't make a move until after the shot arrived. Who knows, if properly researched, they may find the hissing/humming noise actually stimulates the deer's curiosity and tends to keep it from jumping the string. Think like a deer; you just heard the slap of a bow string and your instinct tells you to get out of dodge but as you start your escape, you hear a hissing noise...and then it hits you.

None of the animals I have shot with them seemed to care about the hissing noise. They didn't like that big hole in their chest too much though.
For Gods sake man, just go buy some. If you don't like them I will buy them from you.
