RE: I bought the Switchback and have a few ?'s
Sorry tarheel_hunter im not sure. Im shooting the axis 400's. I dont know how a 400 could be undersplined, but it very well could be. I think we need to talk to some of the more serious archers in here they will know. I just started 4 years ago.

Sorry if I missed it, but I didn't catch your draw length. That info is needed to evaluate your arrow spine inquiry... along with the finished arrow length of course.
I see Tar is jerking back 70 pounds of draw weight with a 100 grain Muzzy on the business end, but I don't know the other factor. I'd say that if Tar has an an average draw length, without an overdraw, the Beman 400's are leaning to the weak spine side. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting an overdraw rest here. There are a few things you can do to correct spine issues without buying new shafts, but they are minimal. The Axis arrows on the other hand are very stiff from the go, so I'd say you have more wiggle room with them over the Bemans. |

Jayhawk, the bow does have a lifetime warranty, but I hope I never have to use it. Putting limbsavers on a Switchback will help to insure I never have to. They will also take out what little noise or vibration that may be there, even though I can't detect any.

Hey guys I am a tried and true Mathews shooter and I always seem to have a question about something but I recently found the forum pages on Mathews web site and they are awesome. The guys on the tech forum know everyting there is to know about Mathews bows & Zebra strings. They can tell you step by step how to tune about any Mathews bow. It is very informative.
