Grow a set, grab him by the collar and slap him from right to left about 6 times. If he looks aplogetic let him be. If he smiles at you run like hell! Either way buy the Mathews.

Anybody willing to cross the boss/employee relationship line by hanging your job and/or friendship over your head isn't worth the headache. Forget the bows. If somebody did that to me about anything at all, I'd tell him or her where they can go. I know you want to use him as a reference but man to me it just aint worth it. I'm guessing a $1000.00 is a lot of money to you. For that kind of investment, I wouldn't think twice. Buy what makes you comfortable and happy and if he bails on you, so be it. The worlds a rather large place and I'm sure you'll land something else and make or find plenty of new friends. Remember, always take care of number 1. That's you!!!!! Always be true to yourself. Good luck.

YOU DA MAN!!!!! Anybody willing to sell a firearm for a bow has got issues. Hi my name is Stone316_74 and I sold a handgun for my first bow last year. Group say "HI STONE316_74!!". All kidding aside that's exactly what I did and now look at me. I'm hooked. I even sold my 1 year old Parker bow (the one I sold the gun for) on ebay to buy the top of the line bow out there. I'm now ridiculously hooked on the bowhunting fetish. Ahhhhhhhh!!! Do I need help? Just kidding man. You're doing the right thing. Good luck and keep us posted. Really I'm not nutz just having a goofy kinda night. I shot my new arrows tonight maybe that's it. Hmmmmmmmm.

Me and the owner are pretty good friends i guess you could say. Then he tells me "if you get the mathews then I'm not going to be able to help you tune it and all of that."
Buy what you feel most comfortable with and get some real friends.

You made the right desision , get the bow that fits you best . I dont like hoyts grip , and grip is very important to the way you shoot a bow . Others may love their grip , and thats what works for them . but noone should try and "push" a bow on you . Im sure you will be happy with the mathews .
