I am back!! With Pictures!!
Well guys, I made it back from an entirely to short of a trip. A full week up in the mountains in Colorado is just not long enough!! The trip was great and we had some great success.
This first picture is of my Dad and his Cow Elk. He shot her at 10 yards.
The next two pictures are of a 3 x 7 Mule Deer that I shot. We were estimatings that he weighed close to 180 and that he was 3 1/2 years old. Please forgive the first picture. I didn't know dad was taking the picture!!
This guy was actually a little bigger than the one I got last year. Luckily the taxidermist hasn't started last years and I am going to swap antlers with him and get this one mounted. The Cardeer Necklace did its job.
The next picture is of my buddy and his 5x5 Mule Deer. He was a tad smaller than mine beings he was only 2 1/2 years old. Weighed in at about 150. He stole my Cardeer necklace after I shot mine and had it with him also.
Thanks for all the goodluck you guys gave me before I left!!
This last part is just for Frank.....They were all shot with Mathews!!
I also got some pictures of live animals that I will post later. Dad has some too, I will get them too. Nothing like what Sask posts, but they were fun just as well.
I had some other opportunities that I could not capitalize on, but I am not upset in the least. I had a couple of small bulls withing 60 yards. Some cows fairly close. My buddy missed a shot at a small bull. My buddy was also sitting by a walo and had 2 spikes come and play in it. They were so close he got splashed when they were playing.
