Sorry if this is old news, but, just thought I'd mention it.....

My state Bow Association annual meeting stated that PETA and other groups of their interest are joining together to stop bow hunting. I think we are in for the fight of our lives on this one.
What can we do to stop their actions? How do we lobby for bow hunting rights?

We must call our legislators and hope that all hunting organizations will step up in defense.

One big thing in our favor is........all states have longer archery seasons than other weapon seasons. In other words, bowhunting is a huge tool in keeping the population balance of game animals. Also, any hunter with a 1/2 a brain knows they would not stop at bowhunting, so it makes sense for all hunters to support bowhunting against animal rights groups. Bowhunting also brings in many dollars to states through licenses and during their stay while hunting out of state.

It won't happen. Its to controvertial a subject. The Supreme Court will never hear if it makes it that far.
