Default second shot

has anyone ever got more than one shot at a deer when you hit with the first shot. I have a friend that hit a doe 3 times before she tried to run off.

There was a guy from Kentucky on one of those Drury videos that put the prettiest shot on a buck I've ever seen. It ran about ten yards and stopped. After giving his shoulders a shrug he reached back just as calm as you please took another arrow, nocked it up and let it go. The second shoot was just as poetic as the first. The buck ran off. He waited till morning to retrieve it.

I grunted a buck in a few years back and missed the first shot. He ran about 20 yards and stopped. I grunted again and he came back and presented me another shot and I connected on that one. Ya gotta love hunting during the rut.

I havn't but was hunting with buddy from work...he had a double lung pass through on a nice 10 PT at about 25 yard in front of his tree stand. When he connected the deer ran strait at his treestand...smacked the tree fell over. As he fell over my buddy knocked another arrow and was ready for another shot. Sure enough that buck got up and tried to run...the second shot was a strait down shot...took out the spine...all over for tht 10 PT!

I had to put another one in a liver hit deer after I tracked it for 300 yards. I waited five hours before tracking and it was still alive in a bed.
