are carbon arrows the best. I have not used them yet but someone told me I should

Ken, for 3-D or target they are very good. For hunting, stick with a quality aluminum shaft.

Carbon for practice and hunting. I wouldn't use a seperate arrow for targets and hunting. Do in practice as close as possible to how you'll do in the hunt itself. Just my opinion.

I like carbon for target and hunting because they are arent as heavy as aluminum arrows and they dont bend.

Carbon are tougher, faster and more forgiving that alluminum arrows.
