Default rest --for 04 patriot

ok tried the ultra rest and it stinks, trophy taker to noisy,tested the apa twister and no go. what other rest out there is reliable and kinda quiet anyway. bow has been tuned and everything set at shop when these rest were tried. just want opinion on what others are using and getting excellent results.

Personally I like the Whisker Biscuit.I have had no problems except for fleching wear,which was fixed by adding a tad of glue to the front of the fleching.

If you're wantinga fall away with arrow cature look at the Vital Bow Gear Ultimate. I have one on my Patriot and I love it. There are some tricks to getting it set up right with the short slide travel on the Bowtechs. You're better off serving it into the down buss cable. I use one of these instead of serving it in and it works great. PM me if you want some more details.

Trap door. I will not buy another rest. There are not strings or attachment arms. The rest is very quiet. The rest does have to be cocked to shot with it. The rest stays in the same postion all the way through the draw, therefore there is no preshot noise. All there is, is a slight clicking sound when the rest hits the riser (Can be fixed with a peice of mole skin). The only rest I would use.

I'll second the Drop Zone. It is built like a tank, easy to set up and tune, whisper quiet on the draw, and gives great fletching clearance. I'll use nothing else.

The most reliable, accurate, and quiet rest in the woods is the whisker biscuit. Its got no springs, no cords, no linkages to rattle around, and it doesn't need moleskin to make it work. The arrow can't clank against the bow when its in a biscuit, and it won't fall off the bow at the moment of truth either. If you are going to hunt with the bow you should put a whisker biscuit on your bow.

Good luck hunting! >>>------------>
