RE: feelings on slick trick heads

This will be my 3rd season shooting the Slick Trick 125's. They are the best head I have ever used. I have harvested 12 animals with them in the past 2 seasons, and the tracking has been very short. All pass throughs, and the accuracy is simply unbelievable for a 4 blade head. I use 3, 4inch AAE fletching, and they shoot right with my fieldpoints. You wont be disappointed in this head thats for sure.

I thought it hit the metal?
BobCo, the shoulder "bone" of a 3D target is the metal rod

My earlier post about the metal rod was referring to the tubing/rod that goes all the way up the leg and into the shoulder. I had a low shoulder hit on the target at WHAM!, a broken b-head.

Did not know that. The metal in most of my targets does not go that far.

Me understand now.;)

Ok, just to clarify, the metal rod that sticks into the ground does not go up that far, but the metal tubing that supports the leg does......Just so we don't mislead anyone.
