I shot Both the Allegience and the SwitchBack side by side in the same shop. I definitly liked the SwitchBack better. The draw cycle is so smooth on the Switchback Absoulutly no hump at all and is so darn quiet and fast. The allegienc is a nice bow. But there definitly is a huge difference in my opinion. I will be buying one myself later this year. I have shot the hoyts, Bowtechs, PSE's and a few others. The Switchback is the best bow I have shot yet!!! When a bow is this smooth. No sense looking any farther.

I have shot both the Allegiance and the Switchback and I must say, both bows impressed me!

Draw Cycle.... The Allegiance wins hands down. The Switchback is pretty smooth, but in my honest opinion, way over-rated! It felt like most other single cams on the market with the exception that the draw force curve was slightly better!

Noise.... Yet again, the Allegiance won. This was very close with the Switchback being exceptionally quiet, but the Allegiance is even quieter!

Hand-shock.... The Switchback wins this one. The bow kicks a tiny bit to the side but like I said, it has hardly any shock. The allegiance has SLIGHTLY more vibration, but the bow didn't kick the side at all.

Price..... Well, they are about average around here. The cheapest place for the Switchback was $625 and the most expensive was $709, while the Allegiance cheapest price is around $640 and the most expensive is $699

If I had to pick one, I would go with the Allegiance simply because in my eyes, it is a more well rounded bow. It is very good in every aspect where as the Switchback is great in a few aspects and average in others! Either way, I don't think that you can go wrong with these two!

I am glad you will be looking at a SB - it is a great bow. Unfortunately for me, it did not fit as well as an Ultratec so I am making the switch and selling the SB. My Ultratec is on order as I write this!

That sounds a little high to me as well, but is not too far off seeing that it is fully rigged out, ready to go.

after reading everything on here about the switchback i went and shot one this weekend and couldn't believe how smooth it was. wow!! smooth, quiet, fast, and forgiving. i have never shot a bow that didn't take me a week or so of shooting to get use to and shooting good. i had it tuned sighted in and shooting better than any bow i have owned in 15 min. 4 blade muzzy's flew exactly with field tips as well. i don't know why but it was easier to hold steady at 70 lb. than my lx was at 62. don't know why but it was so i am going to leave it there to get a more speed. my lx was a good bow for my but there is absolutly no comparison!!
