I'm in the market for a new bow by this summer and am interested in a drop away rest as well. I hear great things about the TT shakey hunter, but would am not sold on a rest that has a cord to be served in. A buddy of mine shoots a Trap Door rest and loves it. I'm leaning that way for now, but am not totally decided. Here's the website:

I'd like to thank everyone that responded for your input. The link to the thread about rests that was provided was a big help.I looked at ever rest that was provided on that thread and think I can make my decision now.I'm going to go with the Vital Bow Gear rest. There is a local dealer here that sells them and I also think I will swallow my pride and have him install it aswell. This bow hunting hobby is down right expensive.I think will have to compromise and let Mrs Shed buy a new couch as I will be needing a place to sleep in the not to distant future.

As long as you don't talk about the new rest ,she'll never know it's on the bow so shhhhhhh.

I used the NAP QT2000 drop away for a couple of years...and liked it fine. Just recently switched to the QAD Ultra...I like it better. The total-containment feature is great..and the fact that the rest/arrow doesn't drop if you have to let-down...much less chance of making noise.
I covered mine w/moleskin for an extra measure...
Good luck!

There are probably fifteen different drop aways out there. Ten just in the Cabela's catalog. If you are as lucky as I am and have a great pro shop to consult with, shoot as many different drop aways as you can then pick the one that works for you. Good hunting and god bless

I have the drop zone by Trophy Ridge. Although I have just recently installed this on my new Diamond bow, I have had nothing but positive results.
