Default Bought a Fred Bear Vapor

Today I paid for my Fred Bear Vapor 300 on ebay and hopefully I'll have it this week. Its no switchback, but it is definately a MAJOR step up from the 1990 model Jennings Carbon Extreme I've used for so long. I just couldn't pass on the price I paid for this bow, I got the entire package brand new with all the bells a whistles professionally installed and shipped for $277. Does anyone own a Vapor?? Any comments on proformance??

Default RE: Bought a Fred Bear Vapor

I almost bought a Vapor but got a Pearson Anaconda instead. The Vapor looks like a good bow and I'm sure I would have liked it also. As a family man who can't drop a grand every year the latest, greatest comes out, I have to bargain hunt and piece together the best setup I can for the money. I have 2 friends with Matthews, and while they are good bows, you could never tell me they are 3 times superior to mine, if any at all. Just as fast, light, quiet. It seems whoever spends the most ad $$ and charges the most for their stuff get to say they are the best. Too bad. I like the thought of there being a lot of manufacturers for the comp and pricing. It will be a sad day when there are only 2 or 3 companies to choose from. Congrats on the bow. You're going to love it.
