Like plain dad said as long as it didn't get above 40. I often either buy meat on sale and freeze or freeze deer roasts only to defrost at a later date to grind into burger or make sausage, and refreeze. It should be ok. Happened once to me when the door was left ajar by my daughter. Since then I installed a hasp and lock to prevent even myself from making a mistake. And to keep young children from helping themselves to IceCream any time they want.

I had that happen a couple years ago; the meat is absolutely safe. At the time, someone got on here and posted all kinds of links to the FDA which supported that assumption.
