thanks for the welcome. I look forward to sharing alot of stories and info with u guys. I believe im gonna go with the pse firestorm. Again thanks for all your thoughts. and what r some good bows on the market as far as being smooth and fast? i was told this will be a fast bow.

I would call it quick but not fast. It will depend what you shoot for arrows as to what you'll get for speed. I shoot 7595 goldtips, total arrow weight is around 460g. you can shoot a lighter arrow to pick up speed but IMO if you'll be hunting with it you're better off with a little heavier arrow. That's my preference.

For what you pay and what you get the firestome is a great bow at a great price. Yes there are faster bows on the market but it's going to cost you another $200-$300 to pick up 15-20 fps depending on what other bow you look at. If you've shot the firestorm and a couple others and the firestorm feels good then I think you've found your winner.
